A combination of work stress, the swine flu epidemic and just life in general has made my body decide it just won't sleep anymore. I was bumming around on facebook, and noticed a few quotes I had up. I will post here.
Logan's favorite political-esque quotes:
"We grow good people in our small towns ... I grew up with those people. They're the ones who do some of the hardest work in America, who grow our food and run our factories and fight our wars. They love their country in good times and bad, and they're always proud of America." Sarah Palin
He was good-looking and he got shot. That is the only reason that we remember him; his few scattered accomplishments aren't enough to warrant the American myth that Kennedy has become.
"War is God's way of teaching Americans geography." Jon Stewart
"We can have no "50-50" allegiance in this country. Either a man is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all.” Theodore Roosevelt
"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page." Saint Augustine
"We can have no "50-50" allegiance in this country. Either a man is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all.” Theodore Roosevelt
"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page." Saint Augustine
"Ours is the only country deliberately founded on a good idea." John Gunther
"America is my country, Paris is my hometown." Gertrude Stein
"America is my country, Paris is my hometown." Gertrude Stein
"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." George Orwell
"The sad duty of politics is to establish justice in a sinful world." Jimmy Carter"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in this world...the Marines don't have that problem". President Ronald Reagan

thanks. I needed that.
Love it! And so true about Kennedy. Soo True. Though I did visit one of his memorials in Massachusetts. We kinda just ran into it so I said why not. And he does have a few good quotes, at least when taken out of context since I dont know the context:
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear anyburden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and success of liberty.
—John F. Kennedy
“The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.” -Kennedy
Maybe one day I will say something as amazing as Sarah Palin.
